Our online psychiatrists prescribe medications for all mental health and substance use conditions, ranging from depression to bipolar disorder, to alcohol use disorder. Best of all, our online psychiatrists take insurance including Medicaid.
e-Psychiatry is available to all self-pay patients. e-Psychiatry’s providers also accept most insurance plans. To search some of the insurers our providers accept please click below.
Telepsychiatry is equivalent to in-person care in diagnostic accuracy, treatment effectiveness, quality of care and patient satisfaction. Patient privacy and confidentiality are equivalent to in-person care. There are even people for which telemedicine may be preferable to in-person care, for example people with autism or severe anxiety disorders and patients with physical limitations may find the remote treatment particularly useful.
Therapists are trained professionals who help individuals work through their thoughts with different types of therapies like CBT. Therapists do not prescribe medications, rather, they offer support. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who has been extensively trained. While psychiatrists typically don't provide therapy, they are able to prescribe medication, as well as diagnose medical illnesses like anxiety and depression.

Equitable Mental Healthcare: We believe that quality mental health support is a fundamental right, not a privilege. Our Telepsychiatry Access program ensures that individuals covered by Medicaid can access the same level of care as anyone else, irrespective of their financial circumstances.
